Set halfway up the hill which separates Valdarno Superiore from the Chianti valley, Villa Barberino is built where the old castle, holding its same name, once stood still. The Villa was carefully renovated and is today an attractive mixture of roofs, stairs, staircases and inner courtyards. All rooms were carefully furnished and now show fine antique pieces preserved during renovation works. The old halls with their amazing cross vaults host the Villa’s restaurant, the ideal place for discreet and romantic ceremonies. Wide and elegant, the park is the ideal spot for spending truly relaxing moments immersed in the magic atmosphere of Chianti region. A wide park hosts a large swimming pool with solarium and a tennis court. At disposal two equipped rooms for small and large meetings and exibitions. Old cellars of X°century where is possible to do wine tasting. Museum of Civilization peasants. Please note that the Swimming pool is opened from May 1st to September 30th.
