  Bon compromis prix/situation/qualité de l'hôtel pour un 3 étoiles. le parking cher, mais c'est florence et c'est très dur de pouvoir se garer en sécurité. excellent accueil, hôtel très propre, à conseiller.

  The hotel balesti was wonderful. it is an attractive building, located near the key sites in florence. further, our room had a view of the arno. breakfast was excellent, and the staff friendly.

  I stayed in this hotel during four nights in early summer. the hotel is located in nice and covenient place close to uffizi museum and faces the arno river. i could see ponte vecchio glowing with the rising sun from my room in the morning. the room was made clean eveywhere and linens were changed to clean ones everyday. hotel staff is very friendly and kindly met my requst to booking tickets of museums. i reget the air conditioner in my room was nosey a little.

  Très bon hôtel, très bien situé, service et accueil impeccables. dommage pour le parking à 25 euros par jour, c'est utile mais vraiment très cher.

  Un très bon accueil, les réceptionistes sont disponibles et parlant très bien français. l'avantage de cet hôtel est qu'il est dans le centre donc possible de tout faire à pieds.

  Chambre avec vue, réservée le jour même (la dernière !) et un chauffage torride, mais parfait pour compenser les -4° c et la neige. très bon séjour.

  My husband and i celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the balestri. it was wonderful. we plan to return to the hotel next fall with friends. the service was exceptional. we visit italy every year so we have a good idea of what's out there. thanks for a enjoyable stay and we'll see you soon!

  A wonderful hotel andstaff were efficient and friendly. would always stay there in future. we were there for 2 weeks and not at least troubled by anything. keep them on the list as they were all wonderful. room was cleaned thoroughly and at an early (after the delicious breakfast) regular time each day which is a definite plus as you know when you can return and rest up in the middle of the day. to return

  We recently stayed in room 207 and our shower head was badly clogged and as a result did not get to enjoy the shower as we should have. please fix for the next guests for their enjoyment. also, we found the bedspread, pillow covers and seat cushions to be very dirty, but once we removed them, we felt our room was clean and were able to enjoy it. the location was excellent and very much enjoyed our view! we would stay there again in the future.

  Le lit est très confortable. la chambre était climatisée, ce qui a facilité notre séjour (40°c de jour). service de chambre excellent.

  Dommage que le personnel ne parle pas français. quant au parking il est regrettable qu'il ne soit pas sur place et que l'information ne soit pas donné au moment de la réservation.

  We had a room with a balcony which overlooked the river. it was perfect. very central location. we grabbed a cab to the hotel which cost around 11.00 euros, easier than dragging bags through crowds and the narrow footpaths. breakfast was buffet, with a good selection.

  Lovely hotel, quiet location next door to ufizzi on river and so easy to pop back during busy days for rest and cool down. everything clean and in good state as on website, with gentile touches of updated grandeur in common areas, nothing tatty. immaculate bedlinens and fluffy towels, bathroom big enough with nice smellies. breakfast lovely and extensive range and generous, (and could order cooked items and even freshly squeezed juice). hotel was so quiet were surprised how full it was at breakfast, busy but no rush up to 10.30 am. hotel bar only open until 10.30 pm keeping it quiet and never used it. service touches 'old fashioned' but not stuffy or crumbly and high quality local staff. e.g. everyone was brought fresh tea or coffee at breakfast and bags were taken to our room on arrival. guests italian, french and german very few english, so we didnt lower the tone! felt like a little bit of luxury good value and would be nice for a longer stay.

  Requested a river view balcony room and we got it. after the small bathroom at our agriturismo we were delighted with our large handicap bathroom altho it made the room a little smaller. staff were helpful with directions fir the car. very niccely decorated, especially public rooms.

  La situation géographique de l'hôtel permet une visite de proximité de la ville ,des restos; des marchés des sites historiques le+++ l'hôtel prend en charge la voiture pour seulement 25€ le p ersonnel est charmant disponible et très peu "interessé "

  Hotel trés bien situé notre chambre était plus qu'agréable elle donnait sur l'arno,l'isolation sonore des chambres l'hotel est trés moyenne(à l'intérieur) avec la réduction le rapport qualité prix vue la situation est excellent au prix normal c'est un peu cher.a signaler la propreté des chambres et de l'hotel en général,un éffort devrait être fait au niveau du petit dejeuner,cependant si nous retournons à florence nous retournerions sans problème dans cet hotel trés agréable et trés trés bien situé.a recommander

  Unser zimmer war sehr schön, wir konnten auf den arno blicken und waren im obersten stock. sehr störend waren die offensichtlich dünnen wände, wir konnten unsere nachbarn sehr laut hören bzw. wurden durch den lärm aus dem schlaf gerissen. auffallend war auch, daß das personal an der rezeption seine hotelgäste nicht grüßt beim kommen oder verlassen des hotels und eher kühl wirkt. auffallend freundlich und sympathisch war ein rezeptionist, der auch fließend deutsch spricht. der kaffee beim frühstück hatte nichts mit kaffee zu tun, das frühstück selber war mittelmäßig. trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt besonders wegen des tollen zimmers und auch wegen der zentralen lage.

  Frühstück unter standard - man hatte jeden morgen das gefühl, das letzte stück schinken dem nächsten gast wegzunehmen. erfreulich große duschkabine, jedoch dusche funktionierte nicht, handbrause war nicht zu fixieren, was beim haarwaschen unangenehm ist ...

  Bel hôtel qui marie à la fois décoration classique et moderne. la situation géographique est parfaite, tant pour la vue que pour le coté pratique : en plein centre historique, vous êtes à deux pas des principaux monuments de florence et vous pouvez passer un séjour sans jamais utiliser votre voiture (prévoir environ 20 euros/jour supplémentaires pour le parking) l'accueil y est excellent et le français parlé (très pratique). je ne saurais que trop le conseiller.

  Le rapport qualité / prix est bon à 115 € comme obtenu...moins évident si l'on doit payer plein tarif !! un petit reproche sur le plan de toilette à une seule vasque peu pratique pour un couple ... vue splendide sur l'arno..

  Hôtel trés bien situé mais parking trés éloigné. ne pas prévoir de se servir de son véhicule pendant séjour sur centre ville de florence.

  Un peu frais dans la salle de bain (chambre 103)isolation phonique avec l'extérieur performante mais pas avec les chambres voisines. le personnel de l'accueil est vraiment disponible et serviable (en français)

  We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and were quite impressed. the room decor was both modern and warm. the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was very good with a terrific view of the hillside across the river. make sure you sit so that you can take in the view. as for location, the hotel is just a few blocks from the uffizi and we could walk everywhere. we will definitely stay there again.

  Excellent location. front desk very helpful and made reservations for the uffizzi for the next morning. most of the major sites were within easy walking distance. the breakfast was more than adequate, with variety. the room was not state of the art, but was very clean.

  L'hotel est très bien situé et très agréable. on déplorera cependant le petit déjeuner qui est loin d'être formidable ( "jus d'orange" en poudre ...) et le cout exhorbitant du moindre service ( acces internet, extra pour le petit dej' (oeuf entre 5 et 7 € !! , véritable jus d'orange autour de 3€ !! ...). bilan: une prestation honnete grace à la réduction importante du prix de la chambre obtenue en réservant via hotels-direct. le prix "officiel" de la chambre est beaucoup trop cher. situation exceptionnelle de l'hotel.
