  The property's location and views are excellent. however, the service is extremely poor and lackadaisical. there is only 1 low energy lady at the front desk that seems to handle everything. there was consistently a line of people at the front desk with various requests. we stayed for 2 days but our room was not cleaned on the 2nd day. no new towels, no toilet paper, the maid forgot...also, the rooms are not maintained well. the a/c did not work well, one of the light fixtures was broken, there is no curtain for the bath and no hook for shower handle, so taking a shower turns the bathroom into a pool and the telephone did not work! in summary, great property but poor management.

  I was not feeling well one nite, and the chef/host brought up home-made vegatable soup and bread to my room! most appreciated.

  We enjoyed our stay at villa la palagina. hospitality of all your staff was excellent. it was pitty that we stayed there only one night, must be wonderful if we stay longer. the only thing we wondered was if our camera was really a junior suit? no jagzzy bath though mentioned.

  All of the staff at la palagina were polite, helpful and pleasant. the male receptionist went out of his way to give us directions when we were visiting other parts of chianti and also helped us with the internet, when we experienced difficulty. the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and, once again, the staff were impeccable and recommended excellent wine accompaniments with our meals. the location was extremely tranquil and the only downside was that we needed a car to get about and there weren't any other facilities within the immediate vicinity, however i would certainly stay at la palagina again and would highly recommend it. the welcome was warm and the staff made our stay most enjoyable

  Don't tell too many people about this place or i may not get booked for next year. the service from the staff especially the restaurant manager & the day barman were not just excellent they were exceptional. this hotel is just heaven

  Magnifique situation de l hotel.c'est vraiment ce qu 'on cherche pour un séjour en toscane.personnel très accueillant.un bémol, le restaurant est décevant.

  Villa la pagina was the most beautiful hotel in the most gorgeous setting. we easily got into florence on the train. the restaurant was an incredible surprise...my two sons didn't want to eat anywhere else so we ate there every night of our stay. loved it!

  Si je devais noter le rapport qualité/prix du restaurant, je mettrais "médiocre"; on paye surtout le "cinéma" dans les assiettes!

  Hotel tres excentre et difficile d'acces d'une part par un manque de signalisation et d'autre part par la configuration de la route sinueuse.

  Un point de vue superbe sur la vigne et les oliviers. 2 grandes piscines dans un cadre extraordinaire. une cuisine très recherchée (attention à la cote de boeuf, le prix monte très vite). a 30 km de florence il vaut mieux prendre par les hauteurs dans un beau cadre de verdure ou manger à la ville toute proche. les prix des vêtements se discutent!!!
