Villa Relais Certosa was once forestral land to the Monostery Certosa, one of the most important monsteries in Europe and setting for pilgrimages which hosted hundreds of the religious as well as exquisite works of art, where even today one can admire and visit this antique Monastery only steps away from the Villa itself and still occupied by the Cisterican monks.
